Store Policies at Rain Shadow Gardens

Currently we are only able to ship to the Continental US.

Orders are processed within 24-48 hours of receipt and most products are shipped within 4 business days1. Some products take additional time because they are made to order. Those products indicate the additional shipping time on the product description pages.

Please, allow an extra day or two for shipping around holidays and during Spring and Summer.

Shipping Methods. Merchandise will be shipped using Ground Service with a carrier of our choice, unless you tell us on your order that you require a certain carrier. If you require a certain carrier, we may or may not be able to fill your order; if we can't, we will contact you.

Most products are shipped directly from the manufacturer.

If your package arrives damaged: It is best to refuse the shipment if the box has been obviously damaged. I know refusing shipment isn't always an option, because you might not notice or you might not be there when it was delivered. If you are not able to refuse the shipment, please keep all of the packing materials and either email or call 352-390-6769 for instructions. It would also help if you can email us pictures of the damaged box and broken product. We are not responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier, but we'd like to help you with the claims process.

Manufacturers Defects.

If a product appears to have a manufactures defect or if anything is wrong with the product, contact our Customer Service department for instructions.

Do not return products to us without first calling to receive instructions. If an item is to be returned to us for any reason, you must first receive a Return Authorization Number. No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the package.

Once a return is authorized by our return department you should:

  1. Return the item to the address given to you by our returns department.
  2. Write the Return Authorization Number clearly on the box or package.
  3. Keep your shipping records for proof of shipment in the event of loss of returned merchandise. Returns shipped via U.S. Postal Service (U.S.P.S.) or with a value of over $100.00 should be insured. We can not be held liable for return merchandise that does not reach our return department.

We will notify you via phone or e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 business days of our receiving your return.

We can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error. You are responsible for all freight charges on shipments that are refused or returned with no fault on our part. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages or losses due to defective products, errors in shipping your order, or other errors. The limit of our liability is the replacement cost of any item you purchase from us.
